I am happy to be living in Houston after having spent 5 years in Boston, Massachusetts. There I earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Boston University.
This is my fifth year teaching first grade. I am proud and excited to be working for the Houston Independent School District since I myself am a product of this school system. I went to elementary school in Houston for Kindergarten up to 3rd grade and had a wondeful learning experience.
Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, and traveling. I also love Broadway musicals and art museums.
I enjoy spending time with my family and our dogs!
My mission this year is to create a positive classroom community in which students will feel safe, stimulated, and motivated to grow socially and intellectually. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions and comments!
